Walk Wit Me / Do My Thang

Walk Wit Me
Kenneth Elijah Sikes Jr. aka D-Lou, was born and raised in Dallas,
Texas. He has been rapping since the early age of 6 and began writing
songs at age 13. Music has always been a major factor in this young
man's life. Kenny had a regular childhood all the way up until May 2,
2002 when he lost his mother Dorothy Lou Sikes to a heart attack... He
was only 15 years old at the time. When his mother past away, many
things in his life began to change dramatically. He was introduced to a
new kind of sadness, pain and anger. He became so stressed out, that at
one point in time he even considered taking his own life.
In the summer of 2002, Kenny's father decided to move Kenny Jr. and his
younger sister to Philadelphia with hopes that a change of scenery
would have a positive effect on the entire family. While in Philly,
Kenny became known as K-Ace "Texas Boy" in his new neighborhood. On the
street corners, Kenny would find comfort in having freestyle battles
with his friends and of course Kenny's talent and energy would always
seperate him from the crowd. When he wasn't hanging on the corner or
getting in some kind of trouble, Kenny would focus on writing new songs
recording them on some equipment that he had at home in his basement.
He soon got it in his mind to create his own mixtapes to play around
the neighborhood. So he got a few rappers from the neighborhood
together and made this idea manifest.
However, still dealing with stress from the loss of his mother, hanging
out on the streets was the only way he could get things off of his
mind. He began moving from city to city, sleeping at different family
members homes. Kenny new he was going down hill and he understood that
utilizing his gifts would be his only escape.
Around August 2003 he and his family moved back to Dallas. He then
changed his name from K-Ace to D-Lou in honor and remembrance of his
mother.
From this point, D-Lou became working with various producers and
performing at local venues.
Now, signed with R.E. Records, D-Lou is ready to be an international
mega star.

Do My Thang
BIO

Originated in 2005 and expanding

Fishe
Born in Europe(Germany), raised in Africa(Nigeria) and now in the United States of America, Fishe` is a profoundly gifted and outspoken lyricist and can be rightfully said to transcend continental boundaries.

Bred in one of the most volatile regions in the West- African nation of Nigeria; Warri, where incessant gunfire and explosions are an almost everyday occurrence, Fishe` recalls miming the words to rap songs as a kid before turning introspective as a young teenager, creatively penning down words at a furious clip about the misery he'd constantly witness on the streets around him from arson and murder to thievery and constant tribal hostilities. Using his wits not only to stay alive, Fishe` developed a knack for catching the action of whatever he saws within his rhymes.

This Nigerian U.S based rapper arrived the shores of the U.S in the middle of 2004 from his homeland Nigeria and within a year came up with the self- release of his debut E.P Moment of Truth mostly produced by Swedish based production outfit IMA Music Group and within months thereafter secured a one year deal with Californian based indie label, Random Records Inc/BeatDown productions.

His music is undoubtedly original, devoid of any pretence, explicitly blunt and poignant and can sometimes be constructively critical and apolitical. With beats highly syncopated, stripped down and organic, the result is an in-your-face brand of hip hop that sounds like no other but possesses the heart and muscle of the best MCs out there.

With an instantly identifiable accent Fishe` possesses the strength and tenacity to make a huge impact in the American hip hop scene with his phenomenal rhyme ethic. Im simply a gifted wordsmith, adds Fishe` with his characteristic Muhammed Ali-like braggadocio.

Shorttay / Bounce-Last Dollar

BIO
Shorttay was born Kevin Lamonta Robinson in a small town called Scotland Neck, North Carolina .ÂÂMusic has always been a major element of entertainment for Shorttay.ÂÂComing up listening to all sorts of music, Shorttay was always inspired to rap.ÂÂRunning around the house making up his own songs was only a joke. Â Everything that he uttered was a freestyle.ÂÂHe did not know about writing rhymes. Â In the Spring of 1998, Shorttay began to write raps.ÂÂHe was only 13 with a passion to break into the music industry and change the game.ÂÂHis first recordings were done with little radios.ÂÂHis older cousin had inspired him by motivating him to become deep into the music.ÂÂThey recorded together for a short period of time before Shorttay's cousin lack of interest was revealed.ÂÂShorttay kept recording because he felt a sense of belonging in music.
Â
Making beats with pans, pots and spoons only drove him to using instrumental tracks. Â This gave him a more realist feel to his music.ÂÂ"I started making beats because I did not want to depend on other producers for beats."ÂÂ Shorttay is a rapper and producer who can give you any type of music. Â He once said;ÂÂ "Versatility is an important factor to one's success.ÂBeing a chameleon in this music industry only results to longevity."Â ShorttayÂÂhas a partner by the name of Chrisstyles.ÂÂHe is also from Scotland Neck, NC.ÂÂThey performed at various venues throughout their underground careers. Â Headbanga Entertainment is the label that is ran by both Chrisstyles and Shorttay.ÂÂThey released several albums that only got their feet wet. Â Shorttay currently resides in Washington D.C where he also has a reputation for making beats and recording for fellow artists.ÂÂ"I plan to change the game because I have a lot to bring to the table." Â Watch out for me, I'm coming!!!!!!!!!!!!!!ÂÂMy Album titled "This Is Life" will be availableÂat in November 06.
